Energy Run Lakatameia is a celebration of sport, health, and community spirit.

Organised by Running in Cyprus, the team behind the internationally recognised TUI Cyprus Marathon, the Energy Run was created to bring the thrill of running to the heart of the capital, Nicosia. With decades of experience in race organisation, marketing, and athlete services, we designed this event to welcome both first-time runners and experienced athletes into a vibrant environment.

Launched in 2019, in partnership with the Municipality of Lakatameia, our inaugural event brought together hundreds of runners across multiple distances, from a 1km kids’ fun run to a 10km road race. The response was electric. Since then, the Energy Run has grown to attract over 1,500 participants annually, becoming one of the standout running events in the region.
